UK Sales Director

The Client

Our client is a Medical Device manufacturer that has been established for over 60 years. They now employ over 2500 team members and their products are available in over 80 countries and they’re still growing, especially in Europe. They are now looking to establish a new division that will enable them to sell their products directly to the UK market, as opposed to using 3rd party suppliers.


The Role

Due to their commitment to Europe, they are now looking for a Sales Director to head-up the operations here in the UK. Some of your duties will include: -

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the UK company
  • Full P&L responsibility for the UK sales budget
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Service & Customer Support
  • Oversee Quality & Regulatory Assurance
  • Planning & Development of UK market share

The Candidate

It is likely the successful candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years experience of business management (ideally within in vitro diagnostics and/or medical device)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Previous experience of working with Medical Devices (Capital Equipment)
  • Proven track record of P&L budget responsibility
  • History of successfully winning tenders (ideally with NHS & Private Health Care)
