The Company

My client is a leading biotechnology business, providing specialised biopharmaceutical manufacturing products and services. They offer a dynamic work environment, as well as excellent training and progression options to their employees.

The Position

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior QA professional to join a growing biotechnology company and gain valuable experience within the biopharmaceutical industry. A relevant candidate also may come from a production manager role in a pharmaceutical company (ideally biologics). You will be responsible for line management of the Quality Assurance team, including development. The successful candidate will be involved with working closely with the Quality Director to make strategic decisions and drive forward the implantation of new plans and processes.

Required Experience

• Minimum BSc or equivalent in a science subject
• Strong previous work history managing QA in a pharmaceutical company OR experience in a production managerial role in pharma.
• Ideally QP status!
• Some previous experience with sterile pharmaceutical or biopharma manufacturing would be preferred
• Excellent people skills and the gravitas to lead a large team
• Good sense of humour and able to adapt with a changing environment
