Interim Project Manager (Biopharmaceutical)

The Company

My client is a leading biotechnology business, providing specialised biopharmaceutical manufacturing products and services. They offer excellent training and progression options to their employees.

The Position

Initial 12 month FTC with the potential for extension or possible permanent position.

This is an ideal opportunity for a biopharmaceutical trained scientist who has already managed some projects to join a dynamic biotechnology company and gain valuable experience within the industry. You will be responsible for interfacing with the customer and internal teams, to oversee project delivery to timescales. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying and evaluating risks, and timelines, as projects develop and change.

Required Experience

• Minimum BSc or equivalent in a biological science subject
• Previous experience with project management in the pharmaceutical industry
• Some experience with biological product development is essential; virus, protein, DNA or cell based products
• Excellent communication skills and negotiation ability
• Willingness to work in a customer facing role and liaise across departments to meet common goals
• Good sense of humour and able to adapt with a changing environment
