We are working with a successful medical device manufacturer, who, due to ongoing successes and growth, are looking for a Senior Validation Engineer to join their existing validation team on a permanent basis. A modern production facility based in a leafy research campus in Cambridgeshire, this opportunity would offer the best of both worlds!

In this position, you would be working at a senior level, leading equipment and systems validation in a medical device production setting. You would be working at an established site that is currently expanding its product range within sterile equipment and auto-injectors. This position would give you great exposure whilst working on a varied product range on behalf of clients.

This business would require their new recruit to work core hours (either 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm) and be present in the office at least 3 days per week. They are happy for you to work from home for 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities in this role are:

• Lead various validation activities related to systems and equipment validation

• Supervision and leadership of more junior validation team members

• Prepare validation and performance qualification protocols for new equipment

• Revalidation of new and/or existing manufacturing equipment and support systems

• Develop, prepare and install new equipment

• Revise test validation protocols and procedures where required

• Create, populate and maintain database for tracking validation activities

Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years+ experience working in validation

Applicants must have experience working in either; pharmaceutical, medical device or biopharma

Experience with process validation and equipment validation is essential
